You delete an existing composition by selecting the Edit menu item and then clicking on Delete Composition. This will display a dialog that prompts you to select a composition to delete:

Highlight the composition you want to delete and click OK, or double click on the composition name. You will be asked whether you really want to delete the selected composition. If you are sure, click OK; otherwise click Cancel.
